WHY ARE TAMAR VALLEY DAFFODILS SO SPECIAL?
Grown in History
It has been widely documented, 'The Valley' has always been blessed with a favourable climate. Its over 200 years a go now the first Paddle steamers started to take pleasure cruises up & down the River Tamar taking in the sights, stopping on the way round to eat the finest early strawberries, the sweetest cherries or buy freshest flowers from the little stone quaysides. Not to miss an opportunity, Market Gardeners were the kings of harmony & interplanted a whole array of tree, fruit & flowers in as tight valley plots quickly resulting in its moniker the 'Valleys of Blossoms'. Even now we don't spray are flowers or use inorganic fertiliser, our packaging is 100% recyclable & we use a local workforce. We may be a bit biased but after nearly 200 years we think Tamar Valley fruit & flowers are the best! From the simple joy they bring as a heartfelt gift or how the beautifully scented flowers brightening up any dull, drab winters day these cheery flowers really are something special.
