Old time classic that seems to defy the ages with is impressive bracts of deepest blue. Unlike its culinary cousin Sage (Salvia officinalis), you do not eat Painted Clary but admire it from the garden path as you watch pollinations dart in & out of the flowers as Oxford Blue seems to be a real bee magnet here.

CULTURE –Sow indoors Mar-April or outside May-June. Germination us usually up to 21 days. It is best to sow in seed modules or pots and place in a cold frame or unheated greenhouse until the moment you are ready to plant them in their final positions. At its best June-October.
